Shumsky Establishes Scholarship Fund in Honor of Former Owner
Michael and Anita Emoff, owners of Shumsky Promotional in Dayton, OH recently established a scholarship fund through PPEF (Promotional Products Education Foundation) in the name of Jayne Emoff Miller.
Jayne was a second generation owner of Shumsky during the mid-1980’s into the mid-2000’s and one of the early diversity businesses certified as a Woman Owned Business. She was a part of Shumsky for over 40 years – selling, leading and molding teams. She developed her skills from a combination of the mentoring she received from her parents, trial and error, industry education, and her peers. She was very passionate about helping underprivileged children.
Aisha Walker, a former scholarship recipient states, “It is with complete sincerity that I say that I would not be where I am today without the generosity of the donors of PPEF. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping make my dream of graduating from college as a first-generation student become a reality.”
Michael Emoff, son of Jayne states, “We are humbled to offer financial assistance to the continuing education and growth of professionalism through PPEF. My mother was a pioneer in this industry so it means a lot to me and my family for her to be remembered in this way. She would be beaming with happiness to know this fund has been established in her name.”
